About Me
Hello! My name is Donovan Rowzee and I am a full-stack web developer from San Diego, CA.
I graduated from San Diego State University in May 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering. I also graduated from San Diego Mesa College in December 2021 with an Associate’s in Web Development.
I am currently a lighting specialist for an Audio Visual Production Company called Encore. I look to bring my creativity and interpersonal skills to future projects and to grow as a full-stack web developer.
My Experience
While pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree, I was an active member in the SDSU Marching Band and Pep Band. I was also the clarinet section leader from 2018 to 2019.
After transferring to SDSU, I joined a transfer student program called ANSWER where I worked in a water treatment research lab and learned skills such as time management and adaptability.
Before graduating, I was in a senior design group with 6 computer and electrical engineering students where we developed a wireless charging drone platform. In this project, I programmed micro-controllers, XBEE wireless modules, and attended meetings with my team and advisors.
After graduating from SDSU, I discovered my passion for web development and started experimenting with technologies such as React and Angular.
I started taking courses at Mesa College and have since developed projects using the MERN, MEAN, and LAMP stacks as well as developing my skills in project development. More details about my projects can be found here.
My time at Mesa helped me find my passion and develop the skills that I need to pursue it. I look forward to bringing my strong work ethic and technical skills to future companies and projects!
